Ponta Lopud Jazz Festival 2023 

This year’s festival programming includes Jazz Master Joe Lovano and three Bands in Residence: Antonio Sanchez & Bad Hombre feat. BIGYUKI, Thana Alexa & Lex Sadler; David Sanchez Group feat. Luis Perdomo & Ricky Rodriguez; and the Obradovic-Tixier Duo. Each morning will start with an open masterclass discussion with our Jazz Master and members of each band in residence, followed by either a second specialized masterclass or a “participant jam” led by festival mentors (musicians from each of the performing bands). The purpose of these masterclasses is to enable young professionals to hone their craft and exchange creative ideas with world-class musicians with global perspectives and experiences.

A hand-selected group of musicians from Croatia and neighboring countries have been personally invited to the island for the duration of the festival with the intention of creating community and inspiration by sharing daily intimate conversations about the state of the industry, performances, evening jam sessions and unforgettable experiences around the Dubrovnik region.

Tickets for festival concerts and boat transfers are free of charge. 

The seating is not numbered. Tickets can be obtained through the Ulaznice.hr system at the link: ulaznice.hr/r/Ponta-Lopud-Jazz-festival 

The printed electronic ticket should be presented at the boat entrance and the concert venue.

HOW TO GET TO LOPUD

Jadrolinija ferry lines run to and from the island of Lopud every day.
The timetable and tickets are available at www.jadrolinija.hr.

During the Festival (31 August to 02 September 2023) additional transfer will be organized to Lopud and back by Argosy boat. The boat ride takes approximately 60 minutes.
