Milena Jančurić

SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Milena Jančurić is a flute player, who graduated in Classical music performance from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 2010, and later pursued Performance studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating in 2013.
Even as a student, she dedicated herself to take her music education to a professional level, studying and collaborating with established musicians such as Matt Marvuglio, Ljubiša Jovanović, Marco Pignataro, Danilo Perez, Fernando Brandao, Scott Free, Mitch Haupers, and many others.
Her time at Berklee College of Music served as a great inspiration for Milena’s musical growth. While she possesses a deep joy for playing classical music, she also discovered a passion for improvisation and composing her original pieces. Throughout the years, she has taken part in numerous concerts and projects, both as a soloist and as a member of various ensembles, including chamber ensembles, orchestras, small groups, and as a studio musician.
Recently, she has collaborated with diverse music groups such as the Milena Jancuric Quintet, Aleksandar Dujin Orchestra, Ana Ćurčin and the Changes, Lazar Novkov & Frame Orchestra, Sanja Markovic, Ehud Ettun, Yabuno Ettun Project, Women of the World, and others.
Since 2016, Milena has had successful collaborations with the Internal Compass Institute in Israel, participating in workshops and concerts.
In 2021, she released her debut album Shapes and Stories under the Italian record label A.MA Records.
